Did You Know in Louisiana You Can Turn Left on Red?

It does not matter if you have been driving for a couple of years or a couple of decades.  Most likely you still do not know all the rules for driving. Personally, I am no expert in driving. Recently, I stumbled across a law about red lights in Louisiana that I never knew. Did you know you are not always required to wait for the traffic light to turn green before you make a left turn?

The website drivinglaws.org reports that in Louisiana a motorist can make a left turn after stopping at a red light. There is a catch; this can only be done legally from a one-way street onto another one-way street. This law makes navigating the streets in downtown Shreveport a lot easier.
