Growing up I got my news from where my parents got their news. They watched ABC, CNN, or FOX. But as I got older I hated the stiffness of broadcast news. We get the information from the world in a stale cookie cutter way and the human element is so artificial. When I watch the news now. I see human robots spitting facts. I don't see the real person sitting behind the desk throwing events and information at my face.

When I found Philip DeFranco I got a new taste in the way I digest news. With Phil, you get a little bit of humor sprinkled with some adult language. He gives his prospective of a news article or a topic that is trending and goes in depth with what is going on. Unlike many news outlets he looks at each issue in an understanding of all sides of an argument rather than just tearing something down that he doesn't agree with.

Phil encourages conversation when it comes to an issue that is controversial. I think that is huge! I feel that we need more people in the world that encourages people to discuss their opinions but also listens to what others have to say and exchange ideas in new and different perspectives.
