Easily the saddest news of the day, everyone's favorite TV mom is dead at the age of 90.

Doris Roberts, of course, played Ray Romano's mom in the hit show "Everybody Loves Raymond."

She had quite the career racking up five Emmy Awards and starring in numerous TV shows and movies such as "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" and "Grandma's Boy."

She passed away Sunday in Los Angeles, but the news finally broke today.

The cause of death is unknown at this time.

She's survived by her son, Michael Cannata Jr., who she had with her first husband. Doris' second husband, William Goyen, died in 1983.

As someone who has watched every single episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond", Doris will be missed and always cherished.

Here's how Twitter reacted to the news.
