It was Lin-Manuel Miranda himself who pointed out that the first Drunk History had already chronicled Alexander Hamilton’s rivalry with Aaron Burr, before signing on to Season 4's post-Broadway recreation. Now, Arrested Development alum Alia Shawkat and star Aubrey Plaza have landed the new Hamilton roles, along with other details of the November bow.

Entertainment Weekly provided the first photo of Plaza and Shawkat in character, the former playing rival Aaron Burr to Shawkat’s Alexander Hamilton, while Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda drunkenly narrates the proceedings. Intriguingly, Miranda will actually give voice to different parts of history not presented in his legendary Broadway show.

Says Shawkat:

Lin knows the history backwards and forwards. He used [Drunk History] to tell different specifics of the story, so it’s not like we’re watching the same stuff. He told the specifics of personal fights they got in and other stuff that still ties into the overall story of Hamilton, but stuff I didn’t know.

Miranda, Plaza and Shawkat aren’t the only major names appearing this season, itself set to premiere on September 27, as the new episodes will also feature Allan McLeod, Billie Joe Armstrong, Steve Berg, Mae Whitman, Paget Brewster, Busy Phillips, Rachel Bilson, Michael Cera, Josh Charles, Kat Dennings, Ben Folds, Dave Grohl, Tony Hale, Ed Helms, Thomas Middleditch, Elizabeth Olsen, Ronda Rousey, Liev Schreiber and Duncan Trussell.

The Hamilton redux episode itself will premiere on November 29, but what new insight might Miranda, Plaza or Shawkat bring?
