“DWTS” Boots Macchio

Tuesday night marked the last dance for actor Ralph Macchio and his partner, Karina Smirnoff, on "Dancing With The Stars."

Macchio, 49, said he was disappointed with some of the judges scoring Monday night, but said he leaves the show with no regrets. He said it was 10 weeks filled with fun, laughter and appreciation.

"The Tuesday after our first performance I felt I was running for president," Macchio said. "It was a great way to connect with everybody. This platform gives you that opportunity."

Macchio and Smirnoff came into the episode in last place having earned 48 points for their two semifinal dances.

Kirstie Alley, Chelsea Kane and Hines Ward will compete next week for the coveted Mirror Ball trophy.

The three finalists will each perform two dances on Monday's episode. A new "Dancing" champ will be crowned on May 24.
