Eminem Thanks Fans

Rapper Eminem took some time during a concert in New York to thank his fans for helping him during a dark period in his life.Em was performing at the Hammerstein Ballroom when he told the assembled crowd that he "wouldn't have gotten out of that dark place without y'all," referring to his battle with prescription drugs. He then launched into his Grammy-winning song "Not Afraid", dedicating it to "anybody tonight who's been through personal struggles."

Eminem documented struggle with addiction and eventual sobriety in his 2010 album "Recovery", which went on to become that year's biggest-selling album.
