If you’re on the fence about seeing the new Harry Potter stage play, allow Emma Watson’s ringing endorsement of the show to guide your decision.

After attending a viewing of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Watson posted a mini-review on Facebook that was full of praise for the stage adaptation.

“Yesterday I went to see the Cursed Child. I came in with no idea what to expect and it was AMAZING,” she wrote. “Some things about the play were, I think, possibly even more beautiful than the films. Having seen it I felt more connected to Hermione and the stories than I have since Deathly Hallows came out, which was such a gift.”

Watson also shared a photo of herself with Noma Dumezweni, the actress who portrays adult-Hermione in the stage play.

"Meeting Noma and seeing her on stage was like meeting my older self and have her tell me everything was going to be alright," she continued, "which as you can imagine was immensely comforting (and emotional)! The cast and crew welcomed me like I was family and Noma was everything I could ever hope she would be. She's wonderful. The music is beautiful… I could go on… "

Meanwhile, Watson's Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe is taking a different approach to the stage show in that he has no intention of seeing it anytime soon.

"I want to see the show. I genuinely am intrigued and I’ve heard it’s fantastic. But I just feel like sitting in an audience of what will for the most of the near future be very enthusiastic Harry Potter fans might be like not a relaxing way to see a show,” he said in an interview with Stephen Colbert. “So, not for the time being, but I’ve heard it’s fantastic.”
