ESPN's Britt McHenry began trending on Twitter at about 3:00 PM and is still trending. I bet she wished the first time she was trending, it was for a great, respectable reason. Nope, not this time.

The reporter is under fire today after a video leaked which showed her talking down to a tow company worker.

Honestly, "talking down" is a bit of an understatement. Britt absolutely went in on this female worker, who was simply doing her job. Britt was clearly frustrated about having to pay to get her car back after it had been towed, and she unleashed all of her self-entitled rage onto this worker.

“I’m in the news, sweetheart,” says McHenry on the video. “I will fu**ing sue this place.”

The worker then let her know she was being video taped, but that didn't slow McHenry down one bit.

“I wouldn’t work in a scumbag place like this,” she says. “That’s all you care about, taking people’s money. With no education, no skill set, just wanted to clarify that. Do you feel good about your job?… So I can be a college dropout and do the same thing?… Maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me, huh?… I’m in television and you’re in a fu**ing trailer, honey.”

Hey, I grew up in a trailer, I take offense to that! She ended the conversation with this zinger.

“Lose some weight, baby girl.”

It appears this incident took place several days ago, of course Britt didn't feel bad enough to apologize until today, when the national media got a hold of the video. Here's her "apology"

"In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake."

If you're hoping for a good ending, there isn't one. ESPN really brought the hammer down on pretty-teethed Britt. They gave her a one week suspension, which once again proves if you're pretty, you can pretty much get away with anything.

Here's a story about the woman who the reporter was verbally attacking.

And here's the footage!
