Facebook Recipes Are Killing Culinary Schools

We've all seen the delicious recipes that no doubt flood your Facebook feed everyday!  Am I the only one that isn't 100% successful making the dishes I see on Facebook?  It looks so effortless and yummy in the video!

Simple how-to videos like the one above are killing culinary institutes.  According to WCAX, cooking schools across the nation are reporting sagging enrollments.  Some are even closing their doors forever with Le Cordon Bleu's 16 U.S. programs will closing later this year.

Above the training we are all receiving daily on Facebook, officials point to high tuition, low student aid and several other factors that may make the Culinary academy a thing of the past.

Last I checked, the Northwest Louisiana Technical College's Culinary Program is still going strong!
