Facebook Would Like to Put Cameras in Your Home

CNN is reporting that Facebook is launching a new line of technology bringing cameras and voice recognizing technology into your home. These new devices are being called the Portal and is very similar to already existing devices with voice assistant technology and video chat. The difference is it'll track your face around the room to make the conversation seem more in person.

Now of course many people are freaking out about this new device taking away their privacy but let's be honest that was lost a long time ago. The Facebook Portal will work with other similar devices as well as Facebook Messenger which has over 1 Billion users. Portals are looking to start off around $199 and increasing with size with the first shipments going out in November just in time for the holidays.

Facebook says that Portal is just the start and will be releasing more devices like it very soon. This is the future.
