Instead of getting presents for his seventh birthday, one Pennsylvania boy only wanted to help the troops overseas. Jacob Miller’s mom sent out invitations, asking everyone attending his party to not bring gifts. Instead, guests could bring personal care items for packages that would be sent to deployed troops. The Express Times reports that the party was a huge success. Everyone participated and brought pre-paid phone cards, toiletries and magazines amongst other things.
