An early-morning fire on Lampkin Street in Bossier leaves two homes damaged, but no one injured.

Firefighters arrived in the 1200 block of Lampkin at a little after 5:15 this morning to find one home fully-involved in flames. They were told by a witness that there was possibly one person still inside the burning house, but that turned out to not be the case.

It took firefighters about 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control. The home was heavily damaged, and two vehicles parked in and near the home's carport were destroyed. A house next door also sustained significant damage.

No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
