Five teens have been arrested over the past few days for stealing several 4-wheelers and a go-kart.

Bossier Sheriff's detectives, along with the Haughton Police Department, arrested four 15-year-old boys and one 16-year-old boy, all from the Haughton and Princeton areas, on felony theft charges.

In February, deputies and officers received multiple complaints from various residents who reported their 4-wheelers were stolen from their homes in Princeton and Haughton. In all, two 4-wheelers and a go-kart were stolen from Princeton, one 4-wheeler stolen from Haughton, and one 4-wheeler stolen from inside the city limits of Haughton. Each of the stolen vehicles had keys in the ignition.

The stolen ATVs and go-kart were recovered from a nearby wooded area and returned to their owners.

"We want to remind teens they can't just take things that belong to others without their permission," said Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington in a news release. "People work hard for what they have. There is a price to pay when you steal, and thieves will face criminal charges."
