Florida Man Arrested for Breaking Into Bossier City School

Bossier City police have arrested a Florida man caught in the act of burglarizing a local elementary school.

When officers arrived at Meadowview Elementary in the 4300 block of Shed Road, they found a window had been removed from an exterior door. A short time later, they found 35-year-old Richardo Padilla of Century, Florida, in a classroom attempting to pry open a locked filing cabinet with a crowbar.

Padilla surrendered without incident. He was found to be in possession of a digital camera he had allegedly taken from another classroom, along with tools normally used in committing burglaries. He was booked into the Bossier City Jail on burglary and illegally carrying of weapons charges, then transferred to Bossier Max.
