Guy Fieri is turning this major Texas city into Flavortown USA this week!

I'm a huge Food Network fan and one of the strongest shows I have seen is Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives hosted by Guy Fieri. The show's main purpose is to shine the spotlight on all of those hole-in-the-wall restaurants across the country that may be off the beaten path, but are always worth the trip. Guy and his crew travel to visit all of these places and take the camera crews behind the scenes. It works because it's local, making people root for their own local businesses.

And now he's in Texas.

It's certainly not the first time he has been in Texas and it won't be the last, but according to CultureMap.com, he has spent most of this week in Houston alone. The site claims it's the first time he has been in the Bayou City since 2009. After searching social media, Culture Map believes that the restaurants he is visiting this week include; the Original Irma, Cuchara, Cool Runnings, Cafe Lili, The Original Marini's Empanada House, and Q-Shi.

There could be more stops on the list too since Fieri will be back in Houston on February 5 for the Super Bowl. He will be hosting the Players Tailgate Party.
