For Those For Or Against The Cross Bayou Project

I've lived in the Shreveport Bossier City area for a year now and I've tried to learn/see as much around the area as I possibly could in that time. I've seen a city full of welcoming and friendly people who are extremely passionate about the area they live in. I've also seen the frustration many have with the area and most of that appears to be centered around the government which next year is an election year so make sure you're registered to vote!

But before next year's election the debate has become almost daily about the Cross Bayou Project and the New Arena. Now yes I'd love to see more life along our beautiful river but is this the right way to go about it? That I'm not sure, I'll leave it to others to decide.

What I am sure about is there's a lot of areas in our city that need your support and that includes the Shreveport Mudbugs! Mudbugs Hockey drops the puck this weekend at home in the Hirsch Coliseum and they need your support. No matter if you're for or against the new proposed arena it's extremely important we stand behind what we already have!
