Gamecocks and Hurricanes to Duck Commander Independence Bowl

The Independence Bowl Foundation has announced the matchup of teams for this year's game.

From the Southeastern Conference, the University of South Carolina Gamecocks (6-6, 3-5 SEC) will take on the University of Miami Hurricanes (6-6, 3-5 ACC) representing the Atlantic Coast Conference on Saturday December 27th at 2:30 p.m.

The game will be televised on ESPN live from Independence Stadium in Shreveport, Louisiana.  The game will be broadcast nationally via the Sports USA Radio Network and heard in the Shreveport/Bossier area on KWKH-AM 1130 the Tiger.

This will be the first year the Independence Bowl will be played with the new title sponsor Duck Commander.
