Girls Can Play Football Too!

I played Football in Middle School and High School and only once did we have a girl try out for the team but slowly we are starting to see girls all over the country start playing. As a father of a little girl I will support her no matter what she wants to do when she gets older and if she wants to try out for the Football team I will be her biggest cheerleader!

Madeleine Northern of Wisconsin is proving that girls can do anything boys can do by playing Quarterback for her High School Football team! She played throughout Middle School and now as a Freshman at Badger High School in Lake Geneva, Wis she's proving herself at the next level.

“It’s been hard getting into the teams. The guys don’t really accept me sometimes, and the coaches have been tough,” the 15 year-old Madeleine told USA Football. “But I got through every single year with the love this sport, and I’m going to keep going.”
