Life can be cruel.  I recently found out that I need to eat healthier, that means less of my true love (chicken fried steak) and more of my mortal enemy (salad).  The luster of life was beginning to fade until a life-line was thrown to me from Dr. David Scarborough, Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.

Dr. David made one of the most astounding discoveries in human history, especially in regards to food.  Break out your special mud-bug overalls, craw-fish is good for you!

KSLA reports that the spicy little miracles are surprisingly high in protein and low in calories!  Plus, low in carbs and high in B-vitamins and minerals such calcium, magnesium, and iron.  The things that will get ya' are the sides.  If you are watching what you eat, look out for the potatoes, sausage, corn, mushrooms, etc.  There you have it, eat more craw-fish for better health!
