Good to Be Alive, Andy Grammer! New Dad Names Daughter After Us

One of our favorite men is officially a father and he thanked us for our support in the biggest way!

It was almost a year ago that Andy Grammer was jamming at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium for our birthday celebration. Of course, this wasn't the first time we've hung out with Andy. He's been in town on multiple occasions and we've been there for some of his biggest moments. In fact, I had a chance to chat with him after his big performance on Dancing with the Stars.

I'd say Andy Grammer and the state of Louisiana go hand in hand, like peanut butter and jelly. We're tight! We did not see this coming though. Andy has honored his love for this glorious state by naming his daughter after it!

Ok, we're totally exaggerating here, but he did name his baby girl Louisiana.

Andy and his wife Aijia call her "Louie" for short. Swoon. She was born on July 28.

We have such a soft spot in our heart for Andy and we couldn't be more ecstatic that this ray of sunshine is now a father. The world could use more Grammers in it. Welcome to the world, Louie! We can't wait to see you in Shreveport!
