They say attitude is everything, and in this case Google may be spot on.

Google Auto-Fill can be pretty ridiculous sometimes. You can start typing in "why do oranges..." and it will auto-fill with options like "turn my face orange" or something of the sort. These are based on popular searches and maybe even the buzz around what we're searching for.

For Shreveport, it's unfortunately pretty accurate.

Google thinks we will most likely ask why Shreveport is called "Ratchet City." I have asked myself this before. Then it gets really depressing with "Why is Shreveport the saddest city?" This could be because we were ranked as one of the saddest cities.

Remember when I said attitude is everything?

Then the guillotine really gets dropped when it fills in "Why is Shreveport important to Louisiana?" Maybe this is an uplifting search because Shreveport is vital to the very functionality of Louisiana.

Or maybe people question why we are on the map in the first place.

See? It's depressing. But I believe it comes from the bad attitude people have about this place. Shreveport is a wonderful city with tons of potential. I believe that Shreveport-Bossier is on the verge of something great. The more we work and believe in this, the more it is likely to come true.

So stop searching for negative things, folks!
