Halle Berry And Olivier Martinez Divorcing

Guess the third time wasn't the charm for Halle Berry.

The actress and her husband, Olivier Martinez, filed for divorce Tuesday after two years of marriage.

"It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce," the couple said in a joint statement. "We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son."

The couple married in October 2013, three years after first meeting on the set of the movie Dark Tide. Berry gave birth to their son, Maceo-Robert Martinez shortly after tying the knot.

"They've essentially been separated for several months," a source says, "but now they are both ready for a clean break and to move on with their lives."

Berry was previously married to baseball player David Justice and singer-songwriter Eric Benet.

Olivier has so far not filed a response to the petition.
