I, like many children in the late 90s and early 2000s, grew up listening to K94.5. We danced to Britney, fought over Backstreet vs. *NSYNC, lived La Vida Loca and screamed Yeah with Usher. K94.5 was the soundtrack of our youth.

Twenty years ago K94.5 was known as the Big Dog. While the name has changed, the spirit of the station has not. It is still home to today's hit music and better yet it is home to some of the best people you will find in the Ark-La-Tex.

The hosts are nothing short of living legends. Who can forget Robert and Erin? They got the mornings started when I was a child. Their hilarious banter lives on at 710 KEEL. Admit it, when Bristol closed out her show each evening you would say along with her "If the world didn't suck we would all fall off." There was Stifler! Even if you had never met him you felt like you knew him. These days you can listen to Jess and Jay. Jess takes us down memory lane every day during the Back in the Day Buffet and Jay is guaranteed to make you laugh on ride home from work.

Thank you for the music and the memories. Here is to twenty more years for KRUF, forever the Big Dog.
