‘Happy Days’ Cast Sues CBS For $10 Million (VIDEO)
The happy days are apparently over.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the cast of the hit comedy series ‘Happy Days’ is suing CBS and Paramount Pictures, claiming they “have not been paid for their share of years of home video releases and licensed merchandise that used their images and voices.”
The charge: a whopping $10 million, plus interest and possibly punitive damages, according to the report.
Cast members suiting CBS and Paramount include Anson Williams, Marion Ross, Don Most, Erin Moran and Patricia Bosley, wife of the late Tom Bosley. Ron Howard and Henry Winkler are reportedly not part of the suit.
The report says the lawsuit was first brought about when a cast member saw their images on slot machines in a casino.
What do you think: Does the cast have a case? Or are they, you know, jumping the shark?
