Happy Memorial Day? PacSun Debuts Controversial Shirt [PHOTO]

PacSun has found the perfect way to anger an entire nation on a day when we honor those who have died for our freedom.

PacSun obviously didn't think this one through. Of course, PacSun is a California-based company and we all know that California makes questionable decisions. Decisions that can easily be seen as unpatriotic. Like UC Irvine voting to ban the American Flag in the library on campus.

That being said, PacSun has released a new line of clothing that includes a flag displayed upside down, as reported by USA Today. Correct me if I'm wrong, but an upside down flag is a signal of distress and is only to be flown in this manner "in instances of extreme danger to life or property," according to the U.S. Flag Code.

According to the report, the shirt was designed in collaboration with a rapper named A$AP Rocky. Never heard of him? Let's keep it that way. The shirt instantly lit a fire in those who actually respect this country, our flag and those who have died defending it. A hashtag is already trending, #BoycottPacSun.

USA Today is reporting that PacSun is not returning any phone calls on this Memorial Day. Could it be that maybe it was a mistake in the printing? Or is PacSun making a huge statement about this country and what it stands for? We'll let you decide.

I just find it funny that those "Americans" who disrespect our country, our flag, and all that it stands for are the same people who are first in line to take advantage of its freedoms, saying gimme, gimme, gimme. Ok, ok. I'll get off my soap box now.
