Harry Potter Heading To Broadway

I remember reading the books growing up wishing I was going to Hogwarts and dressing up for the midnight premiers of the movies so this news has me very excited! After success in London Harry Potter will now be coming to Broadway!

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is set to come to The Lyric Theatre in the spring of 2018 with hopes of an April opening night. The play which started in England has already won 9 awards for Best New Play and is expected to continue success in the States.

The play which is based on the books written by J.K. Rowling picks up 19 years after the final Harry Potter novel "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" left off. Casting for the play has not yet started but Potter fans are already making their plans to see the play.
