HBO Renews “True Blood”

"V" for victory!

HBO announced Thursday that "True Blood" will return for a fifth season next summer. This comes two weeks after creator Alan Ball announced he had signed on for another season and was already working on scripts.

The show's fourth-season debut sucked up a combined 6.4 million viewers for the premiere episode and a late-night encore.
