Harrah’s Louisiana Downs is hosting author Richard Maturi for a book signing January 7th – 10th just outside of the Inside Rail from 11:30am – 5:30pm. Maturi is the author of Triple Crown Winner: The Earl Sande Saga. You can purchase his book there for $25 and I will def be stopping by!

LOUISIANA DOWNS WELCOMES AUTHOR RICHARD MATURI FOR BOOK SIGNING EVENT

January 7-10, 2012!

 

(Bossier City, LA)- Harrah’s Louisiana Downs is pleased to welcome author Richard J. Maturi on January 7-10, 2012. Maturi will autograph copies of his book, “Triple Crown Winner: The Earl Sande Saga” from 11:30am – 5:30pm each day as part of a national tour. Original artwork created by Joyce Canaday, equine artist, was created especially for this new paperback edition. Copies of Maturi’s book will be on sale for $25.00. Maturi has been to Canada and 42 racetracks in 26 states telling the story of Sande. He has also made appearances on HRTV.

 

Sande’s accomplishments include:

–Dramatic comeback after doctors said he’d never ride again
–The second American Triple Crown, on Gallant Fox
