Jay-Z and Kanye West's long-awaited collaboration, "Watch The Throne", hit the streets this week, and the timing and title couldn't be more appropriate. Hov' has been crowned the top earner in hip-hop for the fourth time in five years, taking in $37 million over the past 12 months, barely edging out Diddy, who came in second with $35 million.

Jay-Z's partner-in-rhyme Kanye West came in third for the year, earning $16 million.

Rounding out the top five, Lil Wayne and his mentor/boss Birdman netted $15 million each, tying for fourth.
