Hollywood Hot Spots in the Shreveport!

Something I have noticed since moving to Bossier City is that every where I look I see art, music, culture. What I didn't realize was the amount of cinematic energy was currently booming here. I have gathered a list of movies that were filmed right in our backyard.

Recent Movies Filmed In Shreveport

  • Released May 19, 2016
  • Listed filming in multiple locations in Shreveport.
• I Saw the Light
  • Released April 1, 2015
  • Some of the many filming spots in Shreveport included  US 79/ US 80 Texas Avenue between Bell Street and Murphy Street.
• The Town That Dreaded Sundown
  • Released October 17, 2014
  • Most of the film was shot in Shreveport and Texarkana. While in Shreveport some locals were used as extras.

Currently Filming

According to KTBS, a feature film currently filming called "Three Stories about Joan". This film will star Bruce Willis, Owen Wilson, and Kieran Culkin. Filming started on October 2nd and will continue on until November 10.
