Huge Crowds Pour into Post Offices Across the Country

Monday was the busiest day at Post Offices across the country.

I dropped by to send my package to my son in Hawaii. It was a little before the lunch hour and it wasn't too busy. But as I was leaving, there were about 20 people in line at the main Post Office on Texas Avenue.

If you still have items to mail before Christmas, here are some of the deadlines:

Tuesday is the deadline for first class
Priority mail deadline is Wednesday
For overnight, Friday is the deadline.

The busiest delivery day for the Post Office is Thursday.
