‘Hunger Games’ Scores Big At People’s Choice Awards
"The Hunger Games" ate up the competition in this year's People's Choice Awards, presented Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
The film scored five trophies, including favorite movie, action movie and movie franchise. Jennifer Lawrence won for favorite movie actress, while Robert Downey, Jr. took home the award for favorite actor.
Other winners included Katy Perry for favorite female and pop artist, Nicki Minaj for favorite hip-hop artist, One Direction for favorite song ("What Makes You Beautiful") and album, and John Mayer for favorite male artist.
