Today, March 8th, is International Women's Day. It's a day that kind of reminds me of Veteran's Day in the sense I feel like we should be recognizing and admiring these people every day.

I have so many women in my life I'm thankful for. I'm so thankful and appreciative of my fiance, Kaci, who has been by me through thick and thin and has given me two beautiful babies.

I'm thankful for my mom who raised my sister and me by herself while working tirelessly to make sure we had everything we needed.

I'm thankful for my grandma, Kay, who is always there for me at the drop of a hat and we share a love-hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys.

I'm thankful for too many women to name but so many woman have helped me out along the way and they deserve my love and appreciation every single day.

Today, I'm extremely thankful for my great grandma, Grandma Sue. She watched my sister and me every week while we were growing up and I will never forget being at her house and eating frozen Oscar Meyer weenies. I'll never forget the way she spoiled me. I'll never forget how I've never heard her complain once. I'll never forget her doing literally everything she could for me just to make sure I was happy over these past 24 years.

I don't tell her that enough, but I should. She means so much to me, and today was a very special day for her.

Not only is March 8th International Women's Day, but it's also Grandma Sue's 95th birthday! I broke away from work today to spend some time with her on her big day. She's not the type to celebrate her big day, but I hope it meant as much to her as it did to me that we had to chance to be with each other for a few hours.

Our day was highlighted by the most intense game of scrabble ever. It's amazing, three of us at the table had to use a dictionary every single turn while Grandma Sue never touched it once.

I love her dearly and want to wish her a very happy 95th birthday! Here's to 95 more!
