Insane Video Shows a Smartphone Exploding in Someone’s Hand [VIDEO]

We haven't had a smartphone exploding video in a while, so here you go.

This viral clip from YouTube comes to us from Vietnam. Inside a repair shop, a technician was working on a phone's battery when the unthinkable happened.

As he was pulling out the battery, it exploded in his hand... Well, kinda.

As he pulled out the battery, it randomly exploded and caught on fire. Thankfully, the guy was ready, and was able to make it through the event without getting hurt. The video has since gone viral, amassing nearly 20,000 views.

No word on what kind of phone it was, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was a Samsung.
