My wife and I are joined at the hip as far as viewing habits go.  We watch the same shows (Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, etc.) together.  We usually have one show we watch at night when Deacon (our 8 year old) goes to sleep.

One of the new shows we started watching is Santa Clarita Diet.

It's a lovely show about love, realty, and zombie-ism - but that's not important.  What's important is, when I came home the other day - she had watched the entire series with out me!  This isn't a huge deal, it's not like she watched the new Star Wars without me.

Them's sleeping on the couch words.  I can go back and watch them without her - plus she had a bit of time on her hands and is way more into this series than I am, so it's no big deal for us.  This is known as Netflix "cheating" to binge-watchers everywhere, and it's a huge issue that is arising in the relationship world.  If you don't Netflix and chill, it could Netflix and kill your relationship.

According to a new Netflix survey, just about half of U.S. binge-watchers admit to “cheating” on their S.O. by jumping ahead on a show they agreed to watch together. So-called "cheat-watching" is becoming more and more commonplace, increasing three-fold since 2013.

Don't grab your bug out bag and start practicing your Argentinean accent just yet, mi amigo!  Almost half of these video-criminals admit to multiple offenses and 63%, and said they’d do it more if they could get off with no consequences - but 46% of those surveyed said cheating isn’t a big deal. Check out the full details on the survey here.

I don't think it's the worst thing in the world to do, but it does hover around the cool/not cool border.  What do you think?
