Is Taylor Swift’s Album ‘Red’ About Actor Jake Gyllenhaal?

Taylor Swift’s album "Red" is filled with songs about her breakup with...someone. There has been speculation about just which ex it may be. Whoever it is, he listened to the album and called Taylor to talk it out.

The Grammy winning writer and singer is on the cover of "New York Magazine" and in the issue she speaks candidly about her album and her break ups.

"I heard from the guy that most of 'Red' is about," she said. "He was like, 'I just listened to the album, and that was a really bittersweet experience for me. It was like going through a photo album.'"

Rumor has it, that actor Jake Gyllenhaal is the ex she’s making reference to in “Red.”

As far as her other ex’s, Taylor went on to say: "That was nice. Nicer than, like, the ranting, crazy emails I got from this one dude. It's a lot more mature way of looking at a love that was wonderful until it was terrible, and both people got hurt from it. But one of those people happened to be a songwriter. So what are you going to do? Did you not Wikipedia me before you called me up?"
