If you want to lose weight, you should consider quitting your job....

According to a new study, 45% of people say they've gained weight since starting a new job, but why is that?

Let's take a look at some of the top reasons you'll pack on the poundage while trying to make a living.

 

1. Sitting at a desk most of the day.  51% of people surveyed said this contributed to their weight gain.

2. Eating out all the time. 24% went with this, and it makes sense especially if you work a longer schedule.

3. Celebrations at work. 18% pointed at the parties for their gain. If you're a fan of the Office, I guess this explains Kevin Malone.

4. Pressure to eat food your coworkers bring in. 8% of people said this, and that just means the other 92% of people have mean coworkers.
