It’s Time for the State Fair of Louisiana for 2016
The State Fair of Louisiana kicks off Thursday and will run through November 13 in Shreveport.

Free Parking and gate admission each weekday during the Fair from 10am-3pm.
$2 Tuesday and Thursdays. What does that mean? Parking and gate admission is free from 10am-3pm and the rides cost just $2 each.
From 3pm-10pm Parking and gate admission is just $2 and rides are $2.
Concerts scheduled on the main stage this week are:
- On Thursday night, October 27th, Cody Cooke and the Bayou Outlaws will perform at 7pm.
- Friday night, October 28th, Jammin for Jesus Gospel Concert at 6:30pm.
- On Saturday, October 29th, Lainey Wilson performs at 6:30pm with Frank Foster at 8:30pm.
The best deal at the State Fair is the POP (Pay One Price). You can pick this up at Brookshires or Super One. For $32 you get gate admission and an arm band to ride all the rides.
If you will be a frequent visitor, you should buy the $75 FunPass. This gives you an armband and gate admission for the entire run of the Fair.
