James Spader, who guested on the season finale of "The Office" as one of several applicants to replace Michael Scott, is in talks with producers to join the show next season, but not necessarily in the role you'd expect.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Spader could be joining the cast, but as a replacement for Jo Bennett (played by Kathy Bates), CEO of Dunder-Mifflin.

If so, get ready for even more uncomfortable moments; during the interview, Spader's character explained that all sales come down to this: "Everything is sex."

Spader is a three-time Emmy-winner; once for "The Practice", and twice for "Boston Legal".
