Guess he's really "Ridin' Solo" now...

E! News has confirmed that singers Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks have called it quits after two years of dating. The breakup is said to have been mutual, and that the two will remain friends.

The couple's last public appearance was at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.

Derulo told E! News in 2013 that the video for his hit song "Marry Me" was inspired by their romance. "It is about Jordin, actually," said the singer. "And it's talking about how amazing it will be when I get down on one knee and it will be the greatest moment of my life."

He then added, "You can't fake anything because true love is true love, and that's the basis of our relationship."

Best wishes to them both!
