Jay Joins The Marines (Day Three) [VIDEO]

For me, day three at Parris Island was easily my favorite.

On this day, I had to chance to see families meet their new Marines for the first time in three months. While the recruits are in boot camp, they are virtually in a different world. They cannot contact their loved ones via phone, but can write letters. So this day was pretty emotional.

We also got to experience the obstacle course which was fun, and somehow, I got through each obstacle. The rappel wall was easily a highlight of the trip as well.

The gas chamber was the final stop of the day, and it was easily the most excruciating. The video doesn't do justice to the amount of pain I was in.
