Jay Whatley Readies His Cups Ahead of Mardi Gras [VIDEO]

A cup flying through the air during a Mardi Gras parade? That might as well be solid gold.

Seriously, is there anything better than a Mardi Gras parade in Shreveport? There is certainly something magical about thi time of the year. We camp out, drink all day, and take quality parade-day selfies to boast on social media. We eat anything we can get our hands on and patiently wait for the parade to finally get to us.

When it does... All hell breaks lose.

Hands are up, signs are made, and beads are finally being thrown and caught. However, every now and then we are lucky enough to grab something a little more unique than the traditional beads. I'm talking about the cups baby! There's nothing better than calling it a night after a big parade and coming home to fill up the cabinets with an assortment of Mardi Gras cups. I get it, that's why I will be throwing some pretty special cups at the Krewe of Centaur parade.

I will be DJing the Queen's float so make sure you make a sign, or do whatever it takes to get my attention this weekend, so I can load you up!
