If you watched Sunday's Spurs/Heat game and stuck around for the halftime show, you were in for a treat!

Jay-Z dropped a three-minute ad announcing that he'll be releasing his next album entitled "Magna Carta Holy Grail" on July 4, or Independence Day.

The ad features Hov with collaborators Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, whom Jay tells, "The album is about, like this duality of how do you navigate through this whole thing—through success, through failures, through all this—and remain yourself."

He also adds, "We need to write new rules."

And there's a special treat for Samsung Galaxy Smartphone owners: you'll be able to download an app on June 24 that allows the first million users to unlock the new album for free on its July 4 release date at 12:01 a.m.
