JAY-Z has canceled his "4:44 Tour" stop in Nebraska due to technical difficulties.

The rap mogul was set to perform at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb., on Dec. 6, but the show is now completely nixed. Hov released a statement (via journalstar.com) and it reads:

Due to the scale of this production, we cannot get the screens up on time into the building in Nebraska,” Jay Z said in a statement. “This tour is too important to me to do it halfway. I have to cancel the show. Same with Fresno. I respect you guys too much to take the money and run. Peace, Hov.

There's no word if Hov will return to Nebraska (or Fresno, Calif.) for a make-up date next year. Refunds for purchased tickets can be obtained at the point of purchase - ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets or the arena ticket office.

We know that fans in Nebraska will be disappointed by this news, but we also understand that JAY-Z wants to present the best possible show for his audience.
