I feel like this is a make-or-break week for me. Last week, I went in supremely confident in my picks, and left feeling like Gregg Rosenthal.

That's not a good thing.

Through two weeks, I'm now 18-14 picking straight up. I'm not making excuses here, but who saw the Redskins, Raiders, Jaguars, Buccaneers, and Jets winning last week?

Not me, and not many others who chose to make picks. Those types of upsets shouldn't happen two weeks in a row, but I certainly took that wild week into consideration before making picks for week 3.

18-14 isn't good enough, it's time to go 16-0!

Thursday, Sept. 24

Redskins at Giants, 8:25 p.m., CBS, NFL Network

The Redskins pulled off the upset last week, beating the St. Louis Rams. The Giants are now 0-2 and desperate for a win. Odell Beckham breaks the Madden curse (at least for a day) and ignites for a couple TDs, Giants get their first W of the season.

Winner: Giants, 27 - 24

Sunday, Sept. 27

Bengals at Ravens, 1 p.m., CBS

The Bengals are 2-0 and look good. The Ravens are 0-2 and look bad. Why on Earth would anyone pick the Ravens here? I can't give you a factual answer for that, but I am going with the birds over the cats.

Winner: Ravens, 34 - 20

Saints at Panthers, 1 p.m., Fox

The Saints are absolutely desperate for a win. After losing at home to the worst team of the 2015 season, the Saints have to rebound against a 2-0 division rival. Brees hasn't thrown all week and the most action Luke McCown gets is aiming a football at a back-up tower in a Verizon Wireless commercial. Can't see New Orleans winning in Carolina.

Winner: Carolina, 24 - 14

Buccaneers at Texans, 1 p.m., Fox

This game could not be more of a toss-up to me. Which version of Tampa Bay shows up in Houston? The Buccaneers that were embarrassed by a rookie QB in the opener or the team that just took down Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints? I think we see a poor game by Winston, but a close game bacuse that Texans are worse on offense. JJ Watt takes control of this one.

Winner: Texans, 17 - 16

Jaguars at Patriots, 1 p.m., CBS

The Jaguars beat the Miami Dolphins last week, in case you didn't know. They took down the hype-train that is the Dolphins offense and looked good doing it. Could they possibly go to Foxborough and escape with a win?? No. No they cannot.

Winner: Patriots, 167 - 5.

Eagles at Jets, 1 p.m., Fox

Raise your hand if you saw this Eagles demise coming?? Last week, Sam Bradford, Tony Romo, and Brandon Weeden each had more rushing yards than DeMarco Murray. That's a problem. The Jets have played surprisingly well through two games and until Chip Kelly shows us something different, I'll bet on the struggles to continue against a stout defense.

Winner: Jets, 30 - 24

Raiders at Browns, 1 p.m., CBS

Johnny Manziel hasn't played great, but I think he's played well enough to earn the starting job in Cleveland. His head coach disagrees and will start Josh McCown against the Raiders. I think Manziel is a the better QB, and in this game, I believe he is the difference maker. That's not good for the Browns.

Winner: Raiders, 28 - 13

Falcons at Cowboys, 1 p.m., Fox

The Cowboys are rushing the ball poorly. They are still turning the ball over. They are without Dez Bryant. They are without Tony Romo. Jason Witten is nursing a sprained knee and two sprained ankles. Why would anyone pick them in this game? Because they have the 3rd ranked defense through two games. Also, the Falcons have a few key players banged up as well. Not to mention their 27th ranked defense.

Winner (somehow): Cowboys, 34 - 31 in OT

Colts at Titans, 1 p.m., CBS

The Colts are pathetic right now. Fantasy owners who took Andrew Luck way too early are beating themselves up on a weekly basis. The GM and the head coach aren't getting along. Frank Gore is fumbling on the goal line. I don't know what to think about the Colts, but I can't see them losing this game. Then again, I said that last week.

Winner: Colts, 45 - 17

Chargers at Vikings, 1 p.m., CBS

Adrian Peterson came alive last week. The Vikings beat a mistake-riddled Lions squad who has absolutely forgotten that Mega-tron exists. Philip Rivers will come prepared, and I expect the Chargers to get the job done.

Winner: Chargers, 26 - 24

Steelers at Rams, 1 p.m., CBS

In St Louis, the Rams play like a completely different team. Unfortunately for the Steelers, this game is on the turf. Big Ben won't go down easily, he'll throw three touchdowns. He'll throw a couple picks as well. Le'Veon Bell is back but he can't like this match-up, and he won't like his final stat-line either.

Winner: Rams, 30 - 24 in OT

49ers at Cardinals, 4:05 p.m., Fox

The Cardinals are absolutely dangerous. If Carson Palmer can stay healthy, watch out, because this team can hang with anyone on any field. The 49ers will turn the ball over five times in this game, and you simply can't win like that.

Winner: Cardinals, 35 - 13

Bills at Dolphins, 4:25 p.m., CBS

The Bills just about pulled off the upset last week against the Patriots. Tyrod Taylor put together another impressive showing, but I think he comes crashing down this week. The Dolphins were downright shocked last week by the Jaguars, and they're out for revenge. Lamar Miller will either be out or limited so expect a solid game from Damien Williams.

Dolphins win, 20 - 17

Bears at Seahawks, 4:25 p.m., CBS

No Jay Cutler here, that means Jimmy Clausen will be taking on the Seahawks this week. No one in their right mind should pick Chicago here.... Which is why I'm picking..... Seattle.

Winner: Seahwaks, 31 - 13

Broncos at Lions, 8:30 p.m., NBC

Face it, Peyton Manning doesn't look like himself. He can still go on an 80-yard game winning drive, but he doesn't look like the Peyton Manning we all know and love. Against a fiesty Lions defense, I see him throwing a few wobbly interceptions. He'll throw a couple wobbly touchdowns as well, but the Lions will be too much in Detroit.

Winner: Lions, 41 - 31

Monday, Sept. 28

Chiefs at Packers, 8:30 p.m., ESPN

The Chiefs were downright robbed against the Denver Broncos last week. Jamaal Charles literally handed Peyton Manning the game, and the Chiefs fell to 1-1. They rebound with a nice game at Lambeau Field, and upset the Packers on their home grass. I see Aaron Rodgers throwing his first interception at home in I don't know how long.

Winner: Chiefs, 31 - 28
