Jep Robertson Recovering from Recent Seizure

Jep Robertson of "Duck Dynasty" says he is grateful to be alive after suffering a recent seizure that nearly killed him.

According to ABC News, on October 19, Jep Robertson was hunting with some friends in Northwest Louisiana when he suffered a violent seizure that knocked him unconscious. He said the last thing he remembers is reaching for his bow.

It took EMTs nearly two hours to get to Robertson due to the remote location they were hunting in. Once at the hospital, he remained on a ventilator for four days. He was even tied down to his bed in the event that another seizure may occur.

After numerous tests, doctors still aren't sure what caused the seizure. Robertson says for the last month he has been mispronouncing words and believes that was a sign of the oncoming seizure.

Jep is home now recovering and can't wait to get out and hunt again.
