Jim Parsons Hosting ‘SNL’ March 1

NBC announced Thursday that "The Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons will host "Saturday Night Live" when it returns March 1.

The musical guest that week will be Beck, whose new album "Morning Phase" drops Feb. 25. This makes it seven appearances for the Grammy-winning musician.

The March 1 episode will also mark the debut of Colin Jost, who takes over for Seth Meyers at the "Weekend Update" desk alongside Cecily Strong.
