Day 4,

Halfway through our toy drive living in a box and it's been a crazy week already from the bitter cold to the rain and even the bomb threat it's taken it's toll on us.

I hit a low point today and found myself getting frustrated from the pressure I put on us to raise an unreal amount of toys. I almost forgot the true reason why we do this toy drive year after year. It's about the kids and it's about giving back to our community!

Thankfully my supportive bosses and amazing family were there to slap me back to reality and I feel the Christmas Joy more than ever! I cannot wait to see how the rest of this drive turns out!!

Thank you so much to all the amazing people from Shreveport and Bossier City who flooded our box today with donation after donation! We have a ways to go until we reach our goal but we will get there!

Also shout out to Jay Whatley for coming out tonight and playing some amazing Christmas music during our little box party tonight!

Tomorrow we need Bikes and Bikes and more Bikes! Every child needs to have their own bicycle and we are about 100 bikes away from filling our quota. Together we can make sure everyone in our community has a Merry Christmas!
