We just received an email from Emily Edwards, who's a 17-year-old senior at Haughton High School. For her senior project, she's hosting a 5K for Hydrocephalus awareness.

Hydrocephalus is a condition that affects the ventricles of the brain.

Emily writes "I was diagnosed at birth and have had two brain surgeries to treat it since. It would mean the absolute world to me if there was any way you could help spread the word of our event called 'Joggin' for Noggins' on October 26."

'Joggin' For Noggins' will start at 8 a.m that day. Pre-registration is encouraged, however, there will be registration available that morning from 7 to 7:30 a.m. Those registrants will not be guaranteed a commemorative shirt.
The race will begin at First Baptist Church of Haughton. It's not a timed race, just a way for families to have fun and spread awareness for a very worthy cause!
All additional information and a print-friendly registration packet can be found at the Joggin' For Noggins' Website
