John Oliver’s ‘Salmon Cannon’ Shoots For The Stars…Literally! (VIDEO)

On Sunday's season finale of HBO's "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver", the titular host reported on an invention from the uniquely-named Whooshh Innovations called the "Salmon Cannon", which is used to launch the direction-challenged fish upstream over a dam.

That's when Oliver unveiled his own version of the "Salmon Cannon" and put it to good use by aiming it at his former show, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart", nailing Stewart as he ostensibly did a report on the Middle East. Jimmy Fallon was his next victim, followed, somehow, by an ultra-intense scene from "The Young and the Restless". But that's only the beginning, as you'll see in this video, where everyone from Tom Hanks to Homer Simpson gets a fish facial.
